This made made feel like the parents don't want anything to do with the dog.

Rising Action

What drew me in as a reader was when Doris was talking to her parents one night about how amazing the dog was and trying to convince them to keep it and all they did was ignore her.

I t kind of made me feel the parents ignore her and don't care about her feelings.

What also drew me in as a reader was when her father told Doris to go feed her dog after she had begged to keep it .In a way you are happy for Doris because she can now have a dog.

Another rising action is when Doris's father tells her about the pound and how horrible it is the smell,the cage,and how they gave an animal 6 days to live.You appreciate hoe the father is as a person and that he wouldn't leave an animal.

Climax

I think the most exciting part is when Doris finds the dog because you sort of know that there is going to be some kind of connection between them.

Falling Action

Doris finds the dog and her parents don't let her keep it. These two parts are different because at first the parents don't want to keep it ,but then they change their minds because the of the pound.
