Power connects to law as there are many laws that involve holding power over something or someone. An example is guardianship laws:
Guardians of the person: A personal care guardian is responsible for making decisions about an incapable persons care.
Guardians of Property: A property guardian is responsible for making decisions regarding an incapable persons financial affairs.

Humour

To see and appreciate the humorous side if life

Humour has a connection to the law because
humour can fit under our law of free speech.
However, some jokes can go too far and be construed as various types of harassment.

Kindness

To be kind, compassionate, considerate, nurturing or caring towards myself or others.

Kindness relates to law in a different way than the other values. Kindness is seen as a universal law that everybody should follow. There are laws against people being unkind, which again can be seen as forms of harassment.

Supportiveness

To be supportive, helpful, encouraging and available to myself or others.

The main instance of supportiveness in law is child support. This law makes sure that children growing up with separated parents receive the necessary money and support that they need. Welfare also supports the unemployed to make sure that they have enough money to get by if they can't get a job.

Respect

To be respectful towards myself or others; to be polite, considerate and show positive regard.

Respect is connected to law because everyone has the right to be treated with an equal amount of respect.
Human Rights Code: Everyone has the right to equal treatment without discrimination.

Safety

Safety connects to the law in so many different ways. A lot of laws are put in place to ensure that people are safe and so that people have a sense of safety and security. These laws include driving safety laws such as wearing seatbelts and speed limits, personal safety laws such as tresspassing and self defense laws and broad safety laws such as the fact that it is illegal to murder someone, illegal to rob someone or illegal to kidnap someone.

Trustworthy

To be trustworthy; to be loyal, faithful, sincere, and reliable.

Trust mainly comes into laws when we talk about contracts. When you make a contract, allthough it is illegal to break the contract if written so, trust is nessecary. Trust also comes into place in wills and allowing someone to hold power over your assets.
