Why?
The first reason why the story is meaningful is because its teaching people not to steal . for example for example in paragraph 8 after stealing the pie the naranather said I sat on the curb .the pie tin glared at me and rolled away when the wind picked up my face was sticky with guilt
The second reason why the story is meaningful is because it is relatable because I've done something like this in the past. For example I stole candy from the store and I regret doing it.
