FEELINGS
BEFORE
Viola: "My brother he is in Elysium. Perchance he has not drowned. What think you, sailors?"
Captain: "It is perchance that you yourself were saved."
Viola: "O my poor brother, and so perchance may he be."

In this quote, Viola is grieving for the loss of her brother. She is also in distress because she is in a new country where she doesn't know anyone.
Malvolio: "She returns this ring to you, sir. You might have saved me my pains, to have taken it away herself."

Olivia gave Malvolio a ring to give Cesario because she is falling in love with him..
AFTER
Viola: "Conceal me as I am, and be my aid for such disguise as haply shall become the form of my intent. I'll serve this Duke. Thou shalt present me as a eunuch to him; it be worth my pains."

Viola is going to disguise herself as Cesario to serve Orsino.
Viola: "I left no ring with her. What means this lady? Fortune forbid my outside have not charmed her."

Viola is realizing that Olivia is falling in love with her.
CAUSE
Viola becomes Cesario because it is dangerous for a single women to travel alone. She also needs to be disguised as a man to serve the Duke because women were not aloud to be of service to the Duke in this time period.
Because of Cesario's kind words to Olivia, she is starting to fall in love with him. This leaves Viola confused and also conflicted because Olivia was supposed to return Orsino's love, not Cesarios's.
BEHAVIOR
BEFORE
Duke: "O, then unfold the passion of my love; Surprise her with discourse of my dear faith; it shall become thee well to act my woes."

Orsino asks Cesario to be a messenger of his love to Olivia
AFTER
Viola: "I'll do my best to woo your lady. (aside) Yet a barful strife! Whoe'er I woo, myslf would be his wife."

Viola agrees to Orsino's wishes, however she is jealous of his love for Olivia.
CAUSE
Because of Orsino's comforting manner to Viola, she starts to fall in love with him. However, she is now upset that she has to portray his love for Olivia to her because she wishes Viola would marry Orsino instead of Olivia.
