• If there was no iron we could not have evolved in this way

• Hemoglobin is made up of iron

• Hemoglobin carried oxygen in our blood

• Iron played a big role in our evolution

Stars Life Cycle

• Live for billions of years

• Large stars become black holes

• Small stars become white dwarfs

• Explosion sends elements all around the universe

• When a star dies it creates a supernova

• Can no longer do nuclear fusion

• Dies when it reaches a very high temperature

Life

• The stars are our origin

• Carbon, iron, all elements of periodic table

• The elements we rely on originated from the stars

• Would not have been possible without the elements from the stars

Elements

• Without the elements from the stars we could not live

• Earth has an iron core because of this

• Spread around the universe because of supernovas

• Created inside the stars

• Billions of years before galaxies

• Huge balls of gas became stars

• Created a huge ball of gas

• Was the whole universe
