The Internet Protocol (IP) is the principal communications protocol in the Internet protocol suite for relaying datagrams across network boundaries.

Hardware description language-in electronics, a hardware description language or HDL is a specialized computer language used to describe the structure, design and operation of electronic circuits, and most commonly, digital logic circuits.

Netiquette-this is the code of behavior for activity on the internet. It is a blend of network and etiquette.

Flash Mob-this is a crowd of people (or mob) that is convened to meet at a set time and place via internet.

Nonliner-this refers to a person who does not use the internet.

Oversharing-this refers to the act of sharing too much information online such as credit card details, passwords etc.

Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML)- is a markup language for creating webpages. Webpages are usually viewed in a web browser.

Information technology (IT)- is the application of computers and telecommunications equipment to store, retrieve, transmit and manipulate data, often in the context of a business or other enterprise.

Input/output or I/O-the term can also be used as part of an action; to "perform I/O" is to perform an input or output operation.

I 1-D-R(I Wonder)- Online jargon, also known as text message shorthand, used in texting, online chat, instant messaging, email, blogs, and newsgroup postings, it is spelled in all lowercase because it's also considered a form of leetspeak.

AAC(Advanced Audio Coding)- is considered the successor to the MP3 format by MP3's creator, Fraunhofer IIS. AAC's most famous usage is as the default audio format of Apple's iPhone, iPod, iTunes.

e-purse(electronic purse)- an electronic monetary transaction card being proposed by several government agencies.

E-dress-a general way of describing one or more of your electronic addresses, such as your e-mail address or your IM address.

File Transfer Protocol (FTP)- is a standard network protocol used to transfer files from one host to another host over a TCP-based network, such as the Internet.

Active-a term that describes the objects currently displayed on your computer screen. For example, on a PC (personal computer), the active window is the one you are currently working in.

BAC(Bad Ass Chick)-text message shorthand, used primarily in texting, online chat, instant messaging, email, blogs, and newsgroup postings, these types of abbreviations are also referred to as chat acronyms.

Back slash-is the name of the "" character on the computer keyboard. It is commonly located below the "|" mark on the same key. Back slashes are primarily used to represent a path, such as "c:Windows".

Tweeting-this is what you are doing when you are posting a comment on the social networking site Twitter.

Unitasker-this is someone who (or something that) can only do one task at a time. It is the opposite of multitasker.

Object-oriented programming (OOP)-is a programming paradigm that represents concepts as "objects" that have data fields (attributes that describe the object) and associated procedures known as methods.
