Gesture Line

Lines that records movement, weight, posture, and general character of the subject at a single point of time.

Contour Line

A line used to follow the edges of forms and in doing so describe their outlines.

Common Contour Line

Lines that are joining between two different shapes which defines the separation between this and that.

Lost and Found Line

Lines that have a description of a form inn which an object is revealed by distinct contours in some areas and soft or areas faded into the ground in others.

Expressive Line

Lines that seem to spring directly from the artist's emotions or feelings similar to gesture lines except the focus of the artist's understanding and essence, and not the object being drawn.

Physical Line

Lines that has a continuous element with a width and a length.
The actual line is discussed in terms of actual characteristics.
Such as:

* Color
* Movement
* Shape and etc.

* Straight
* Continuous

Implied Line

Lines that have an imaginary line created by positioning a series of points or short lines so that our brain joins them.

Psychic Line

Lines are that where one in an artwork point to and therefore directs the viewers eye from one point to another which creates a mental connection.
