everyone always ask me to do things because they
know it will get done

Internally and Externally Motivated

I think that the internal motivation
is a determination
factor you want and
need to get things
done because you know that you're
responsible for them.

The external motivation i think comes from seeing people
get punished in a variety of ways and they don't want to
see that happen to them

Disadvantages

Always busy- No matter if you start off with
one responsibility more and more always
pile up on top of each other

Many people tend to over commit and
that ends up back firing because they're not a
super human.

Responsibilities in my life

School

Im a full time student and I have a decent amount
of homework every night

Volleyball Coach

Coaching an 18 year olds volleyball team
and they require your time in order for themselves
to get better

Driving my brother to his sports

Year round baseball player
with practice three times a
week that he can't be late for

Being at appointments for my mom

She has breast cancer so the
appointments pile up every week
and last a decent amount of time.

Doctors appointments

I have many health problems and keeping
my own doctors appointments are sometimes
hard and my health ends up taking a back row
seat

Social life

Friends always want to hangout and make plans not far
enough in advance so I end up cancelling plans with them to
keep the commitments I have in the other aspects of my life

In order to keep all the responsibilities
I have i need to not make so many commitments

Agreeing with the authors

You cant expect anyone to do anything for you

No one will save you, you have to
do it yourself

Don't blame others for your own failures

Everyone tries to be a victim

If someone has responsibility they are a creator.

I choose to be a creator because I own up to my
mistakes and take the punishment.

Everyone is different and can make thieir own choices
