Precipitated by ACEI/ARBs - start ACEI dose at night then check BP and 2 in 6 weeks + check U&Es

Glomerulonephritis
Nephrotoxic drugs
chemotherapy, gentamycin, ibuprofen
Rhabdomyalysis (CK 600+)
Epileptic fits, lying on floor (fall), exercise, compartment syndrome, hyperthermia, statins
Pyelonephritis
Fever, loin pain, rigors, pregnant (ureters dilate, more vulnerable)
Streptococcal infections
Immune complex deposition in small arteries - NECROSIS
Amyloid
Protein deposition after inflammation - CONGO RED STAIN
Microvascular disease (diabetes)
Post-renal
BPH
