CHALLENGE
A love triangle forms by accident due to Violas masculine disguise
Viola disguises herself as a man to work for the Duke but finds she is in love with the duke himself
Olivia falls in love with Viola in her disguise as the duke keeps sending her with messages
The Duke from the start of the story is in love with Olivia but she has not accepted any approaches from him
After the love triangle is formed Violas brother appears revealing he did not die at sea
Due to them being twins and Viola being disguised as a man, they get mistaken for one another when encountering the other characters in the play
Violas brother gets in little tussle with sir Andrew which sends the knight to jail
OBSTACLES
The main obstacle of the love triangle is that in the characters current states none of them return the love of their pursuer
CLOSING
CLIMAX
Viola and her brother finally meet again surrounded by most of the characters in the play. In their joyous reunion(they both thought the other was dead) Violas true form was revealed to everyone
OUTCOME
With violas true form revealed the Duke realized he in fact loved her more than Olivia and asked to marry her
Olivia then falls for Violas brother and asks him to marry her
