Edgar Collins, a passionate art collector, donates a new piece to a museum, claiming it to be a work of Cezanne. His friend Dmitri warns him about the risks of acquiring potentially unauthentic art.

Art under scrutiny NO CLEAR CONCLUSION WAS REACHED! 5 scientists from Spectrotech Dr. Simpkins He claimed that it could be a Cezanne painting Used both short & long-wave UV excitation Dr. Montoya She used (XRF), & she found out that the composition of the painting matches the pigments used in Cezanne's era! Dr. Andersen He claimed that if he found a drawing beneath it; then it's certainly not a Cezanne He used IR to detect if there are any paintings beneath the one drawn Dr. Pruschy This polyene showed that the painting is not that old, not a century old! He investigated the UV spectrum and it showed that there are "polyenes" present in the paint. Dr. Marden He found the painting exciting, and he thinks it's a Cezannes' painting! Dr. Wandless Edgar agrees to do the investigation The investigation is goint to take place at "Spectroscopic techniques" She told him she wants to investigate the matter She told Edgar that the painting might be fake! the curator of the musuem Dmitri He told Edgar that a research took place, and it was concluded that no more Cezanne paintings are to be "likely found He told Edgar that it is risky to keep on buying these paintings Edgar's closest friend Edgar Collins What did he do? He donated art work to public musuems all over the world! He announced to his audience that he's donating a new specimen at the musuem "a complete expo on the works of Cezanne" He was very interested in finding undiscovered work. He collected many different kinds of works. He was interested in art, and also a wealth collector of fine art
