Many LGBTQ students face significant challenges in their school environments due to social inequalities and biases. They often experience bullying and harassment based on their sexual orientation, leading to high levels of stress and fear.

Social Inequalities 2: afraid to show who they are truly are

Social Inequalities 1: bullied for who they love

They are in constant fear of someone “finding out my secret.” They live in fear of someone finding out and then being bullied. They live in fear of people rejecting them.

Cultural Beliefs and Biases 2: suicide rate is high in students who are LGBTQ

Cultural Beliefs and Biases 1: being bullied for who they love

This is a negative impact on the social issue. The LGBTQ community in schools are bullied more than other children. Because of this their risk for suicide is extremely high as well.

Excising Social Condition2:: people thinking that they would make horrible parents

Existing Social Condition 1: people thinking they are “less than” a person because of who they love.

The conditions that people think are not true. Anyone can be a parent but it takes a special person to be a mom or a dad. Anyone can fall in love but being loved back is the other side of the coin. Slowly this is starting to change in our culture. So is the marriage law. Most states now are allowing the Gay and Lesbian community to marry. They are realizing that love is love. All humans want to be loved. We as a society should not have legal control over that.

Social Roles 2: they are sons/daughters who are afraid to tell their parents about their orientation.

Social Roles 1: children are getting bullied for their orientation.

The social roles are strained. It causes the children to be stressed, fearful, and live a life that is not suitable for learning. They are in fear of family members finding out and it being a negative impact on everyone. They live in fear that their friends might find out and then they won’t have any friends when they go school
