Adolescents' nutrition is influenced by various sociocultural factors, which significantly shape their eating habits and overall health. Peer pressure plays a role, as young people often adopt the dietary behaviors of their friends to avoid social rejection.

An extensive body of literature exists about the influences of different situations with relation to the feeding of teenagers.The study draws primarily on the work of Olga Osorio Murillo and others secondary sources
For this project, I consulted archives in an attempt to explain why there were the bad habits of feeding, these provide a valuable resource, I also surveyed the literature on media and its influence on teenagers.
Of these texts, I draws its data and I use a primary source of information: pediatric associations. I will reference to this source in the thesis. Several secondary sources were also consulted, such as the books by Judieth E. Brown or Children's Television that talk about disorders due to bad habits.
These papers begin with a review of the adolescent's habits respect her feeding. The authors say that teens tend to have bad eating habits and suggest new habits and some healthy foods.
