Throughout the school year, various holidays and special observances provide unique opportunities for students to engage in educational and cultural activities. September kicks off with Hispanic Heritage Month where students complete activity sheets related to Hispanic cultures and celebrate Grandparents Day by inviting seniors to the classroom.

March National Nutrition Day Each student make up a healthy meal plan. Womans History Month Write a paragraph about a special woman in your life. December Winter and the Holidays Class party and fun drawings of snowmen and snoowflakes. November American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month Research facts through books and online and share what you learn with the class. Childrens Book Week Share your favorite book with the class. October Halloween Make a paper grocery bag costume and mask. Fire Prevention Review fire safety facts. September Hispanic Heritage Month Complete activity sheets related to Hispanic cultures. Grandparents Day Bring in Grandparents or a senior friend. Auguest Back to School Get to know your fellow classmates.
