Identity Crisis

A person that struggles with the sense of their identity for example they are confused on who they are and who they want to be.

A person may struggle with a mental disorder, like bi polar, depression, and schizophrenia

A person's sense of identity becomes insecure and they become embarrassed when having to ask others for help

Identity crisis usually happens when someone having certain stressful situations or when a big change has happened for example parents splitting, and school.

They focus on their self image to help them with the ego

Identity status focuses on foreclosure, Identity diffusion, identity, and moratorium

Allows children and youth to be able to explore new experiences

children and youth have commitment with values and beliefs as well as their goals
