Equal and exact justice for all men.

"Equal and exact justice to all men, of whatever state or persuasion, religious or political."

Everyone person should have the same rights, and none should be treated different.

The significance is that no one is favored and everyone is treated the same.

Democracy is a form of government in which all eligible citizens have an equal say in the decisions that affect their lives. Since their is equal and exact justice for eveyone, we can have a democracy.

Restore harmony and affection to liberty and life.

"Let them stand undisturbed as monuments of the safety with which error of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it."

To bring back the peace and care to individual freedoms and life.

The significance of this is that it unites everyone with "one heart and one mind" to restore harmony to our individual rights.

Since a democracy is a form of government in which all eligible citizens have an equal say in the decisions that affect their lives, it is important that everyones individual rights are protected. Anyone has the right to vote for any representative, and not be prosecuted for their choice.

To pursue our own federal and republican principles, and attach them to our union and representative government.

"...a wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned."

To establish a better government that eill last for many gernerations, and one that will be friendly to all ethnicities, religions, and professions.

The significance is that everyone has a right to work and make an income. We are allowed to manage our own money.
