Factor A influences and impacts Factor B because factor B is the outcome of what can happen to a tourist, usually by their physical appearance ( their style, the dialect of their speaking tone, the amount of money they carry etc) People will look at that often, as well as the way you speak their native language and ask a lot of questions, that can all result as a dangerous outcome, therefore it's really important to have a tour guide because the person knows the place more than you and you will be safe and protected, as well as being in a group with other tourists as well is very beneficial.
What causes Crime Against Tourists? (Factor A)
Tourists often are individual therefore, while travelling they can be a target for the residents in the country, because they are not from there, and do not know the state of the country.
The atmosphere, how the place looks tells u a lot. Some places are very dangerous and you can tell the place might look sketchy and not the best option to spend your vacation at.
Even walking on your own in a different country where its unusual or lonely or isolated is very dangerous, you should always have a tour guide where you feel safe and welcomed by the people from that country.
Even the way you physically look can attract, a lot of people because you may have a different style from others than can in a second attracted someone and make the target on you.
Language wise as well, if you speak a different language let's say English because its an international Language, people may also use that as a target because you don't speak their national or native language to that specific country or you might have a different dialect while speaking the native language of that specific country.
