Pearl Harbour

The attack on Pearl harbour was a surprise Military strike conducted by the imperial Japanese Navy against the United States naval base at Pearl Harbour, Hawaii.

The US was shocked.

This caused the creation of Japaneses internment camps all throughout North America

The Dieppe Raid

The Dieppe Raid was an Allied assault on the German-occupied port of Dieppe, France on 19 August 1942, during the Second World War.

The main assault lasted less than six hours until strong German defences and mounting Allied losses forced its commanders to call a retreat.

Atomic Bombings of Hiroshima & Nagasaki

During the final stage of World War II, the United States detonated two nuclear weapons over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9, 1945, respectively.

The United States dropped the bombs after obtaining the consent of the United Kingdom, as required by the Quebec Agreement.

Canada played a role by providing Uranium to the US.

The bombing was justified by preventing further loss of lives by ending the bloody war
