LANGUAGE SYSTEM

A language system is an intricate and multifaceted structure comprising various subsystems and levels of analysis. Key components include phonology, which deals with the organizational aspects of sounds, syntax that focuses on sentence structure, and morphology dedicated to the study of morphemes and other meaningful units within a language.

Language is a system i.e a functionally determined, structured aggregate of elements; a language system is the totaly of minds in the entire language community

A social system:
The patterned series or interrelatiionship existing between individuals, groups, and institutions and forming a coherent whole: social structure

A language system consists of the development, acquisition, maintenance and use of complex systems of communication, particularly th human ability o do so.

Six distinct stages in the languagecsystem.

A language System comprises three subsystems:

Grammar: Arrange words into sentences reflecting thoughs exchanged in speech communication.
Morphology
Syntax
Lexical: Linguistics .The set of all words and phrases in a language.Reflect the entire range of thing and phenomena in the ambient world.
Phonology. Provide the items and products of the two other subsystems

Linguistic clasified at 3 levels.

Syntax : Study of the sentence structure
Morphology: Is the identification, analysis and description of the structure of morphemes and other units of meaning in a languaje such as words,affiixes, parts of speech.
Phonology:Is the one step up from phonetics and the organizationl aspects of sound within language
