Critical thinking is thinking correctly for oneself that successfully leads to the most reliable answers.
Scientific thinking is the practice of the scientific method
Scientific method is used to justify scientific knowledge thus making it realiable.
Are based on 3 things:
Skepticism (Questioning one's beleifs and conclusions)
Change minds with new realiable evidence or sound reasons
Test your beleifs and their outcomes
Deception and self-deception
Matching with objective reality then they are relaiable
Rationaism ( logical resoning)
Wastes time, inefficient and sometimes unsuccesful
Often struggles with one's will
Must be learned and practiced
Empirical evidence (evidence susceptible to one's senses)
Also known as Natural evidence
Common alternative is Authoritarian evidence
Only type used to make vital decicions
