Australian wildfire: September 2019 - March 2020

The Australian wildfires from September 2019 to March 2020 had significant impacts across various environmental spheres. The atmosphere was affected as CO2 stored in trees was released, contributing to a global temperature rise and changing wind patterns in the stratosphere.

Hydrosphere

Water being dropped by humans in flying machines (couldn't put image in connect bubble so I put it down here)
Water cycle is affected by fire. Transpiration reduced in fire area.
Water quality degrade around area.

Atmosphere

Fires changed wind patterns nearly than 10 miles into the sky, in the upper layer of the atmosphere which is called the stratosphere
Fire decrease water quality in water sources nearby
Smog, smoke cover the sky from fires.
CO2 stored in tree is released causing global temperature rise of 0.1 fahrenheit

Biosphere

the 46 million acres of trees were brunt down.
Humans combated the fire and rescued fellow members of the animal kingdom.
Three billion animals affected.
Animals suffer from dehydration as shown in video link above.

Lithosphere

Fertile soil lost because trees are not there to hold the soil down. The fire causes soil erosion.
