I will challenge students for them to work to their full potentnial

While keeping in mind the levels and learning differences in each student

I want to create an inclusive classroom

For each child to believe that they can get involved no matter how much confidence they have

I will combine a variety of different approaches and teaching methodologies

To cater for all the students learning needs

Although I am studying Education Studies in Marino, which isn't a teaching degree, I have career aspirations to be a Primary school teacher in the future.

I will hopefully get my Masters here in Marino Institute of Education and if not I will continue my studies by doing the PME Primary course in the Hibernia college.

The Student/ The Education Content

Education: Purpose and Function

I believe that the education system is mainly helping to produce workers.

Students that are completing the Leaving Certificate in Ireland are awarded extra points if they complete a higher level maths paper. I believe that this is to encourage the students to work in the Technology sector as large multinational companies like GOOGLE, etc, are setting up business in Ireland

I believe that the purpose of education is about both the development of the student and societal goals.

The Education System shoud develop students thorugh motivation for them to realise their own potential as unique individuals. It should also enable student to develop as social humans and to be able to eventually contribute to society.
