An inclusive writing program strives to achieve participation from all students without discriminating against skills or abilities. Each student(s) has their own talents and capacity to learn and meet the expectations that are required. Inclusive writing programs attempt to meet the needs of all students while meeting the curriculum expectations.
I believe the goal is to build confidence and allow student voices to shine through their writing talents for some to discover their talent in expressing themselves creatively.
I am in the Library of a school, supplying and on prep. I asked a student if they like writing, he was curious to what I was typing, his response was anticipated and not original. He said he liked playing video games, not writing. I told him to write a story about the video game and to make up his own video game. I told him all video games are first created by writing out the themes and purpose. I said words are what create video games first…
