How does it affect you in the long term

It can change my appearance for long term because then I do not have to wear glasses and it also helps my peripheral vision.

How does it affect you in the short term

Short term I would feel a really big difference as I am not constrained to wearing glasses and I can swim while I am wearing contacts because if I swim with glasses there is a chance of them falling off

Environment

How does it affect our environment in the short term/ long term? Is it sustainable

Contact lenses are plastic and since they have a limited life span there will be lots of people throwing out plastic and plastic is non biodegradable so it is going to be hard to recycle and or not at all most plastic is being thrown in the ocean so in conclusion the animals would the affected and pollution the ocean. Contact lenses can be sustainable if they remain cheap and people recycle them properly.

There are not individual rights that are violated because the individual themselves choose to use the contact lenses

There are no laws against using contact lenses but there are safety protocols to make contact lenses.

It really does not affect culture or ethnic divides as using contact lenses do not go against most people beliefs, contact lenses are cheaper than regular glasses as they do not require a frame which can cost over 100 dollars. Contact lenses are not temporary because they have a specific life span due to this glasses and contact lenses offer the same benefits as even the contact lenses are cheaper, in the long run it will end up costing as much as glasses due to the amount off contact lenses bought.

Is it desirable or undesirable on any of these scales: global, country, region, company, immediate neighbours, people in general

for country it might not be desirable because some third world countries can not afford contact lenses because of the income. Making contact lenses creates jobs but also takes away jobs from glasses makers. economically its a 50/50 economic benefit as it benefited one side (contact lenses) and does not benefit the other side (glasses makers)

What is the fundamental science upon which this technology depend

It has to depend on optics as the contact lenses makers have to put thew exact magnification on the contact lens or the contact lenses would be useless, due to this options is a fundamental factor as it helps contact lenses makers make the correct magnification.

The scientific research has already begun to new technology.

What effects will it have on lifestyle and living condition

It would affect the lifestyle because you have to regularly take out the lenses at night and pout them in, the morning and also put them in water before sleeping but it depends on the contacts the person has.

It brings together people that wear contacts, this is because this is a common feature on both people and the society it separates is the one that doesn't allow people to wear contacts as in beliefs

The different groups that would be affected are the ones that cannot afford contact lenses and they do not get the advantages of contact lenses.
