Webset is a web tool used by special education teachers to create and store electronically all paperwork needed for student's IEPs and evaluations. Between the case managers and diagnosticians both having access it makes it easy when you are both working on a students records to communicate back and forth electronically rather than having to meet face to face to talk about what needs to be done.
Remind is a mobile app that allows you to easily communicate information to your students and parents through a text message without giving up your personal information. You can send messages as reminders of upcoming tests, games, practice changes, etc. This helps to eliminate the excuse of I didn't hear the announcement or get the letter sent home.
PowerSchool is a web tool and mobile app. Teachers use it as a web tool and it's a place in which we can input grades, track attendance, create/edit student schedules, and keep student records. Parents and students can use it as a mobile app to log in and track grades up to the minute.
Google classroom is a web tool that allows you to create assignments, send announcements, or start class discussions all in one place. For teachers this allows you an easy way to stay organized and can eliminate paper based assignments that usually get lost by students! You can provide feedback to students in real time. You can also create a classroom for your staff and share training videos, documents, or slide shows all in one place.
Prezi is a web tool and mobile app that can be used to create more stimulating presentations. Students can work together without being in the same place to create projects. Prezi creates more interactive presentations than the PowerPoint slide shows which can lead to more engaged learning.
Kahoot is an easy to use web tool and mobile app. You can use any of the already created quizzes/trivia in their data base or create your own. Students log in on laptops or their mobile device to play along while it is displayed via projector. This is a great way to get immediate feedback on how your students are doing. I use it a lot as a review tool.
MEConference is a web tool used by our conference as a schedule maker. You can input your schedule in, verify it with another school and it adds to theirs as well. Parents can sign up for text alerts to any changes in the schedule or upcoming contests as well for just the activities they want to follow.
Max Stats is a mobile app by Max Preps that allows you to keep stats during or after a contest. If coaches have someone able to do it during the game it provides immediate feedback to those who want it, afterwards its an easy to use tool while you are watching film to stat and keep a shot chart for your team. It then uploads directly to Max Preps for you.
Fast Draw by Fast Model Sports is a mobile app that allows you to create, save, and share your playbook with anyone. The free version has it's limitations but is still more than enough for any high school coach to use for his team.
Weather Bug is a mobile weather app. Useful for coaches and AD's to keep track of incoming weather, get alerts, and plan ahead.
HUDL is a web tool used by coaches to upload game and scout film into an easy to use platform. Coaches can have their athletes log on and have access to any films they want them to see, athletes can create highlight films for recruiting purposes. It's also a very easy way for coaches to share scouting film with other coaches in a matter of a few clicks. HUDL saves coaches valuable time in their efforts to prepare for one game to the next.
Podcast Generator is a web tool that allows you to easily upload and create your podcast to be shared. Its easy in that you simply upload the file as if it was an email attachment and then their site takes care of the coding to create the podcast to be shared. Podcasts can be a great tool to share information with the public and can be created by the students giving them valuable hands on experience.
YouTube is a web tool and mobile app that can be used to view or share videos. YouTube has millions of videos covering any topic you can imagine. This can be useful in the classroom to give them review topics, introductions to new concepts, or supplemental material. You can easily create your own and upload to YouTube as well. This can be used to create training videos for staff as well as informational videos that parents and students can view as well.
iCloud is a web tool that is used for data collection. All of your pictures, videos, and files can be stored on your icloud. You only have 5GB free and have to purchase more space after that. If you have multiple apple devices, they files from each can be stored into one location and give you access to all files from each device.
Dropbox is a web tool and mobile app used to store and share your files. You can store any and all files in your Dropbox and if you want to share you can create a link to be sent to whoever you want. Much like Google Docs you can give them permission to view or edit. Dropbox keeps your files safe from being lost if your computer or mobile device gets damaged.

You can give them permission to view or edit so you have a working document. You can see when other users are viewing the document as well. It's become a very valuable tool for schools as you do not have to be in the same place to be working on a project.
Google Hangouts is a mobile app that is an instant messaging system for all of your google contacts. We use it at Cameron as a way for teachers to be able to communicate with each other without the disruption of a phone call.
Instragram is a primarily mobile app that allows users to share pictures and short video clips. You can link it with other accounts to share simultaneously across multiple platforms for your followers.
A web tool and mobile app, Twitter allows you to post information in condensed "tweets" you can also post pictures and video clips. Great way for your followers to keep up. As a user you can retweet information, scores, etc to all of your followers. Twitter is a great way to find information fast within your social network.
