Biases Involved
Are Biases affected by celebrities?
Values and Beliefs
Values and Beliefs are much alike political biases as most values coincide with a political belief. However values through voting, in particular how the elderly vote may sway the opinion of the reader and create a bias.
Political Biases
As this is a very controversial topic biases will be based on political alignment (left or right). If the reader is more left leaning or liberal they will most likely become an easily convinced audience who will be on board the entire time. If they are right leaning or conservative they will be against my opinion and be a hostile audience. I will need to convince them of my points without directly offending them and turning them into a even more hostile audience!
What I Already Know
Controversy
The lack of a post-Brexit plan has led to a large amount of controversy in the political world. Many world leaders are outraged at Britian mainly calling them "children who want to run away, without realizing where they are running away to".
Brexit has been called a racial attack. Many think Brexit is simply about deportation and banning immigrants. This has led to controversy and many public demonstrations accusing pro-brexiters of racism and of being xenophobes.
Politics
The labor party is the party against Brexit. They have been against Brexit since the start and have constantly criticized the leaders of the conservative party for having no proper plan in place for after Brexit. However there attempts to stop Brexit were often undermined by their radical liberal almost marxist views.
The conservative party is pro-Brexit and has been trying to make Brexit happen for years. The first example of Brexit thinking was when the British did not adopt the Euro and continued with their own currency the pound. Brexit was first brought into light with Theresa May who was prime minister of England. When her plan was voted down in the spring of 2019, Boris Johnson took her place as prime minister. Boris Johnson created a great deal of controversy over his political views. Many compared him to Trump. Boris Johnson successfully passed Brexit and implemented it on January 31st, 2020.
