Only software company to put skin in the game.
Made by and for supply chain professionals, Foresight works with a broad gradient of manufacturers and distributors to solve supply chain challenges.
LEAN MANUFACTURING
The concept of Lean Production or Lean Manufacturing continues to evolve, this system is best characterized as relentlessly eliminating waste from all activities and operations. Lean strives to produce/distribute products:
* On-Time
* Using as few resources as possible
* Better than competitors
* Faster & Cheaper than competitors
* While Eliminating as Much Waste as Possible
Lean Manufacturing is the “umbrella” under which many manufacturing improvement tools are housed. Some examples include:
* TPM: Total Productive Maintenance
* 5S: Visual Workplace or Visual Factory
* KanBan: Work Signaling System
* Error & Mistake-Proofing: A perfect process tool
* Level-Loading: For producing mixed quantities and styles of products
* Inventory Reduction
* Kaizen Events (a.k.a. Kaizen Blitzes or Improvement Events)
* Continuous Improvement (and “Lean Culture Change”)
Improved forecasting and demand planning has a direct and profound impact on Lean programs. If you have an accurate picture of demand, you can more effectively eliminate the reactive dynamics that cause waste, excess risk and rework -- allowing you to focus more time and resources on value added activities. Improving the forecasting and demand planning front end of a lean initiative can increase the overall benefit of the initiative by 30 to 50%.
What would a 25% reduction in forecast error mean to you?
Improved forecast accuracy has a direct and profound impact on profitability through five key areas of the Value Chain:

For companies that rely on strong customer service levels to stay competitive, Foresight offers the Capacity to Promise.
The CTP module allows you to manage the promising of orders with known capacity constraints - based on manufacturing, purchasing, shipping or all three.
Set it to run Automatically or through Foresight's Interactive mode -- a graphic interface that displays all of your orders, capacity forecasts and potential bottlenecks. Drill down for more details, assign customer scores to prioritize orders, and react to supply chain road bumps with ease.

Inventory Management
Inventory Management
One of the most frequently used screens in the suite, Foresight's Inventory Management module is uniquely effective at driving velocity, preventing stock-outs and trimming unnecessary safety stock. One screen gives you at-a-glance access to information on inventories, sales forecasts, shipment history, trends, etc.
Say you are poised to release two new products. There is no history available for these new items so sales forecasting is especially challenging The sales force thinks they will sell 100 units of product A and 500 units of product B. The rest of the downstream processes, including DRP, MRP and MPS all plan accordingly.
--But, suppose you then realize that sales are tracking improperly and suddenly need to juice up production of product A, trim product B, and adjust the plan downstream expeditiously. You need to react. Now.
Foresight makes these kinds of opportunities, and the detail required to take advantage of them, float right to the top. Using live indicators, Planners can respond quickly and effectively to real market demand without amassing stockpiles of waste.
How much would a 25% reduction in error save you in carried inventory?

Art & Science: A Duality
A bad forecast can produce a world of problems – inventory piles up, customers get frustrated and the costs of doing business head north. Add erratic buying behaviors, competitive pricing environments, new product releases and other volatile dynamics to the equation and predicting demand can become a true nightmare.
At Foresight, we believe forecasting is a duality of science and art. Foresight’s powerful Forecasting engine represents a quantum leap in supply chain intelligence – the ability to learn and optimize the Science of your business environment so your talented professionals can focus on the Art.
Personalized Approach
---- Foresight personalizes approach/tech to support your processes and priorities - NOT the other way around. -------
------begging the questions: What do you want out of your forecast?
3. Comprehensive Visibility
Past - Better clarity of Historical Data - Pattern Analysis - correlations and causal relationships
Present - what is happening right NOW that impacts the forecast? Automated External Data inputs – and intercorporate communication
Future - Classical Modeling competes with Global Optimization techniques to find the most accurate fit - all within a Neural Computing framework that continually learns, adapts, and improves on its own.
What Factors Impact YOUR Demand? Automatically integrate as many or few influential demand factors as you need and Demand Commander will look for patterns, correlations and causal relationships
like housing starts, POS data, weather patterns, commodity trading values and promotional events
4. Condensed Re-frame: Personalized Methodology, Technological Innovation and Real-Time visibility --- Demand COmmander will improve forecast accuracy by 25%. We stake our entire compensation as a company on it. (See Our Guarantee).
