Canadian History (what I know)

6. I would like to learn more about how Canada developed as a country and how it became so big and powerful of a country. I would like to not learn more about indigenous people and people of the past.

1. I know Newfoundland was the first part of Canada to be explored by Europeans. Sir Johnny mc Donald was the first prime minster of Canada. Pierre Trudeau was a prime minster and now Justin Trudeau is currently the prime minster of Canada.

2. there are many Canadian historical figures but the one that stands out to me the most is Terry fox cuz he raised money for cancer research and he did a marathon of hope by himself but he passed away cuz the cancer got to his lungs. that inspired people all over Canada and now there is a day called "Terry fox day" and everyone walks for Terry and donated money to Cancer research.

5. Canada is the same as the past; traditions, a few laws and old buildings. Canada is different from the past; population, more new buildings, economy, race(multicultural) and more diverse , law and what is right, more crime activity, clothing and everything is a lot more modern like technology.

4. Indigenous/First Nations people is a historical community that I know that comes from Canada. this group was the first ones in Canada and very impactful to Canada and the ones that had to face hardship and if they wouldn't have came Canada could have ended up differently.

3. Canada is a great country and the people are too.
