Money What We've Learned

Learning how to manage money effectively involves understanding various aspects such as saving, making change, and the value of different coins. Role-playing as shopkeepers and customers helps grasp these concepts by practicing giving and receiving change.

Money What We've Learned

we can give people change in lots of different ways. we can give them change of 10c by giving them a 10c coin, two 5c coins, or five 2c coins.

Money What We've Learned

We played in role as the shopkeeper and the customer. the shopkeeper gives change and tells the person how much something is.

Adding coins

we can get 6c in lots of different ways
1c+1c+1c+1c+1d+1c
2c+2c+2c
5c+1c

to give someone change in a shop we have to do the amount the person gives us minus the cost of the thing you buy.

Making change

different coins

1 cent and 2cent coins are brown and smooth at the edges. The 1cent coin is the smallest. We no longer use these coins.
The 5c coin is also brown but it is much bigger than 1cand 2c coins. it is the third least valuable coin.
the 10 cent coin is gold or yellow, and has bumps around the edge. it is smaller than the 5c coin but is worth more.
the 20c coin is bigger than the 10c. it has 5 little bumps around the edges.
