A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who specializes in mental health, including substance use disorders. Psychiatrists are qualified to assess both the mental and physical aspects of psychological problems.

I have interest in this career because I feel better when I'm helping others and getting to study and understand the brain is something im interested in. This is beneficial for many people and is even better if i can be my own psychiatrist and getting at my own needs.
