We use it for talking about complete actions in the past.
sentence structure:
Subject + verb + complement + time expression
past
e.g. :
1.Karol talked with the director yesterday.
2.We went to the park yesterday morning.
We just ad ed at the end of the verb.
e.g.:
Peter washes his clothes .
Peter washed his clothes last week.
we use the auxiliar did at the beginning of the sentence. Do not forget to write the interrogation sign at the end.
the verb returns back to its base form.
e.g
Mary talked with the director yesterday
Did Mary talk with the director yesterday ? ( Interrogative Form)
We use the auxiliar DIDN'T before the verb. Remember that we write the verb in its base form.
e.g.
Mary talked with the director yesterday morning.
Mary didn´t talk with the director yesterday morning (Negative Form)
We have to change the verb.
e.g.:
Peter gets up at 6 am everyday.
Peter got up at 6 am yesterday
