Emotions are a big part of self awareness. Your emotions should be let out at times because it is good for you. It is best for you because it is better than keeping it inside and smiling on the outside. If you also release your emotions people can be there for you. The people who care about you will make you feel better. I can relate to this because at time I do keep my emotions inside but it is not good for you. I did not get any better till I started opening up to people.

Self Reflections

Self reflections are important for you. It informs you about where you are right now, where you struggle, and your strengths. It can also make you set your goals. I can connect to this because in class I wasn't really aware of where I was at. When we did self reflections in class I set goals up for myself and it reminded me of where I was at.

How will your ensure that you final product effectively communicates an understanding of unit concepts How will you use care and creativity in your final product?

I will ensure that my final product connects to this unit by making connection from the unit. Some connections such as mindfulness, equality, equity, etc. I will use creativity and care through this unit by explaining terms from this unit, why it is good for you, and me connecting to the term. I will also go in depth with everything that I say.

Can you make connections between knowledge acquired in the unit to your own learning habits and self care routines? How will you take feedback and use it for your own self improvement?

A topic that is acquired for your knowledge in this unit is mindfulness. Some connections I can make are that I also do some type of activities related to mindfulness. Some activities are going on a bike ride, going on a run or walk, reading a book, etc. All these activities make you take your mind off stress or maybe relieve stress. This is why mindfulness is important. I have made many connections in this unit from equality, equity, etc. I will use this feedback from the unit to make me a better self by listening to the things said in class to help yourself.

What is your plan to improve learning skills and to create/maintain a healthy self care routine?

My plan to improve my learning skills is to always listen to what the teacher is saying to get a general understanding of what we are learning. Just in case I miss a day of school and miss what we learned I plan to stay in touch with some of my peers so I am on the same page as the class. My plan to create a healthy self care routine starts with my sleep. I need 7-8 hours of sleep so I am not tired all day. Some things I would implement into my day includes reading and listening to music. Both of these activities will exercise my brain and make me focus on something else rather then being stressed.

Do you identify your strengths and needs as a learner, key learning skills and mental wellness?

I do identify my knowledge such as my strengths and needs as a learner, key learning skills, and my mental wellness. I do this when we write self reflections about our goals and our learning after a lesson. This helps me because I know where I need improvement and where I am good. For my Mental wellness I make sure I sleep for 7-8 hours. I do this because it helps me learn better and I can assure that I am not tired doing my work. For my mental wellness I also listen to music while doing work to make sure I don't get distracted during work and it makes me calm.
