The story take place at Agrabah and in a miracle cave in where Aladdín find a magic lamp

Aladdin is an ingenious young man living in extreme poverty, who dreams of marrying the beautiful daughter of the Sultan, Princess Yasmine. Fate intervenes when the Sultan's cunning vizier Jafar recruits Aladdin to help him retrieve a magic lamp from the depths of the Cave of Wonders.

Jasmine wants the Sultan to change the marriage law so she can become Sultan, rather than her goal in the original: change the law so she can marry Aladdin.
