You will need a toaster appliance. Do you have one with you?

Get a toaster.

Place two pieces of bread in the slot of the toaster (each slice should be in a separate slot). Toast the bread for 1 minute 30 seconds

Take two slices of bread out of the bag.

Place both slices of bread on the plate beside each other

Did you place the two slices of bread on the plate beside each other with the white part facing up?

Take the lid off the jar of jelly and place it on the table.

Grab the knife by the handle (the not sharp end), place the other side of the knife in the jar, scoop out some jelly, and spread it on the face of the bread.

Is there enough jelly on the bread?

Using the same side of the knife, scoop more jelly and spread it on the face of the second slice of bread

Is the jelly evenly spread over both slices of bread?

Place the knife in the jar. Put the two pieces of bread on top of each other - the sides with jelly on them should be touching.

Use your knife to spread the jelly out until it is smooth
