Gerund
Definition
The form 'ing' of the verb. To form the gerund in English, 'ing' is added to the verb in the infinitive. Corresponds to the ending 'ando' 'endo' of verbs in Spanish. You will also see that its use is somewhat complex.
How to use?
The gerund is used for several things. For example, to form continuous times (continuous present, continuous past, perfect present, etc.).
It is also used to express the continuation of an action that is being carried out. It is used in continuous past, continuous persent, present perfect (etc).

Infinitive (To)
Definition
it is one of the non-personal ways that verbs in English can take. It looks a lot like the basic form. The difference is that the infinitive always includes the word (to) while the basic form never includes it.
How To Use?
The Infinitive To is used to generalize a verb without referring to any verb tense.
