North Korea is dangerous because they make the unification of North Korea and South Korea impossible, but also make the separation of the 2 more dangerous.

North Korea has almost enough warheads to alter the security and international politics of NE Asia, which may result in more nuclear proliferation.

The non-proliferation laws that used to keep North Korea in check are starting to fail.

North Korea has been the target of new non-nuclear proliferation laws for 2 decades.

In a CNN interview on January 8, 2017, Ash Carter, the Defense Secretary, said that they would shoot down any North Korean missiles.

President Donald Trump has said many times that North Korea's suspension of nuclear and long-range missile tests was one of his biggest achievements.

"In June 2018, Trump proposed a deal to Kim Jong Un:North Korea would get rid of its entire nuclear weapons arsenal, as well as the material and facilities needed to build and test the weapons, in exchange for an end to the American-led sanctions."

Politicians that were opposed to President Bush argued that he didn't do anything against NK.

Trump has ordered the preparation of 3 bunkers in case NK launches bombs.

One official described NK's tests as "relentless."

After the sixth North Korea missile test, Trump tweeted "North Korea continues to be very hostile and dangerous to the United States."

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo encouraged Trump to reject North Korea's terms.

Mark T. Esper, The American secretary of defense, said that the Pentagon was not going to “overreact” to the latest North Korean test.

on January 29, 2002, George W. Bush labeled North Korea as an "axis of evil" in the State of the Union Address.

"After that test, the South Korean news media, quoting government sources, said that North Korea appeared to have tested multiple-rocket launchers, not missiles."

North Korea has been using the tests as showing the world they should not be trifled with.

They have also been using their missiles as leverage for the U.S and South Korea.

South Korea made has made plans to retaliate because of the 5th test.

South Korea went silent for a while after the 4th test.

by the end of 2017, North Korea's arsenal grew to 30.

This problem has lasted for 3 presidential campaigns.

By 2017, there were 12 flights that were publicly released as shot down.

NK's nuclear warhead count was estimated to be 10 or 20 in 2018.

International sanctions banned exports to North Korea after their 4th test

Nk was estimated to have an armed forces count of 1,000,000 in 2016.

On February 12, 2013, North Korea launched it's third nuclear test, and it was the first to be directed by Kim Jong Un.

In July 2006, North Korea conducted it's first long-range missile test.

In April of 2003, North Korea declared that it had nuclear weapons.

They developed WMDs even after signing the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty in 1985.

In October of 2002, the Bush administration revealed that North Korea was using a secret nuclear weapons program, which violated an agreement they made with the U.S in 1994.

Back in August 5, North korea tested 2 new short-range missiles at the North-South Korea border.north Korea has also been testing missiles with guidance systems that make them harder to intercept.

South Korean officials are able to run calculations on the missiles North Korea tests from what they see and pick up on sattelite.

Some solutions might be unification of Korea, arms control and reduction, and economic interaction.

The sanctions put on North Korea aren't currently working, so we must figure out a better way.

We must make a deal with North Korea that will confirm safety for all american people.
