Accessibility- Does the venue have wheel chair access, including in the bathroom?

Using the centre as a venue ensures accessibility for wheelchair users as there is a small ramp and wide doors.

LGBTQI Families- Do the planned activities in any way inhibit the participation of LGBTQI families?

Avoid language which assumes heteronormative family structures in favour of more neutral terms.

Financial Accessibility- Will families from a diverse range of socioeconomic backgrounds be able to participate?

Apply for IDF Innovative Solutions Funding to cover the cost of hiring a speech pathologist.

Using the centre as a venue reduces costs as there is no hire fee.

Dietary Considerations

Will the provided food promote healthy diet choices?

Will I have guests attending who have religious or ethical dietary requirements? E.g. - Halal, vegetarian.

Sustainability

Use of natural or recycled materials in play spaces where possible.

Use of paper plates and cups over plastic for food table.

Legal Considerations

Gaining written endorsement from the service provider to proceed with the event.

Gaining written endorsement from the service provider to advertise the event on service social media.

Official visitors who may be engaging with the children must sign in and present a current Blue Card.

Speech pathologist to sign into the visitor log and present blue card to be photocopied and recorded.

Venue must have bathrooms available for guests.
