Preterite tense, -ar verb endings- (-amos) (Estudiamos- Studied), Estudiamos para el examen. We studied for a test. Imperfect tense, -ar verb endings- (-aba) (Jugaba- Play), Yo jugaba futbol con mis amigos. I used to play soccer with my friends.

Preterite tense, -er verb endings- (-iste) (Bebiste- You drank), Tu bebiste un vaso de agua. You drank a glass of water. Imperfect tense, -er verb endings- (-iamos) (nadabamos- we used to swim) , Nosotros nadabamos en el lago todos los veranos. We used to seim in the lake every summer.
