Politics

Even politics became more stable. The parties that supported Weimar Republic did well in these years.

Culture

There was also a cultural revival in Germany. The Weimar constitution allowed free expressions of ideas. Writers and poets flourished, especially in Berlin. The Bahaous style style of desing and architecture developed.

Foreign policy

Stressemans greatest triumphs were in foreign policy. In 1925 he signed the Lorcano Treaty. As result of this Germany was accepted into the League of Nations.

Politics

More worrying for the Republic was that 30 per cent of the vote regularly went to parties opposed to the Republic

Culture

To many people living in the Germanys villages villages and country towns, the culture of the cities seemed to represent a moral decline, made worse by American inmigrants.

Foreign policy

Nationalists attacked Stresemann for joining the league of nations and for signing the Lorcano Pact because Germany accepted the treaty of Versailles.
