Children's physical activity levels were observed in two different outdoor environments: a kindergarten outdoor area and a natural outdoor setting. The kindergarten environment resulted in average to low to medium activity levels, with some higher intensity activities like catch tag and rolling.

Average of 3.1 - This is below the Health Recommendations by the Director of Health of Children - although some of the activities did show some higher level of physical performance of the children, this was not incorporated enough by the adults within the facility.
