Islamophobia is a very real fear in the US and a few other countries in Europe. Events like this are likely to happen as some believe that Muslims are dangerous or that they are the reason for an issue in their city or country. For example, the travel ban that dosent allow immigrants AND non-immigrants to travel to the US for a select few countries. This is most likely a reaction to the War on Terror

Psychology is the study of the brain, humans specifically the thoughts and their actions before they are acted upon.

Studying how different cultures and religions, interact, and stereotypes of the different religions. They would also address multiculturalism and if the multiculturalism in america is functional. Multiculturalism is very important for society as it allows for social and anthropological growth. Different cultures are able to interact and learn from each other, and accommodate each other which changes the social structures and roles in society, and the culture of society. Different perspectives and ideas can also help effectively solve issues that impact us today. This is why diversity is important to the growth of society in the 20th century.

A Psychologist would look at why or why not a subject decided to take action, and the reasons for discriminating against a muslim boy. They would look at the reasons the boys have to not be friends have to exclude him from their group, or what reason they have to tell their kids to stay away from him. Were they afraid, insecure, entitled or were they uneducated about the topic?
