Strengths Perspective

These theories were very helpful during my internship working with previously incarcerated women enrolled in the Bridgit's Hope Program.
This is the most important theories to me in my social work practice.

System Theory

This theory is very important when working with low-income resident especially Hispanic or Latino.
Being culturally competent helped me use this theory with the women who are in need of services with in the community.

Narrative

I learned a lot from clients when I heard their stories from their perspective.
I used this perspective while facilitating a weekly women group at low-income housing community.
