ANTI - LEATHER DRIVE

DLDAV MODEL SHALIMAR BAGH
Every year over 6 billion animals are slaughtered fortheir skin, fur and meat. Very few people raise voice for these animals.
DLDAV MODEL SCHOOL SHALIMAR BAGH organized an “ANTI-LEATHER CAMPAIGN” on 31st Jan. 2015, under which studentsparticipated in an ANTI-LEATHER rally within and around the school premises.The school Principal Mrs. Adarsh Kohli motivated the children for the campaignand flagged off the rally. Students carried placards, shouted slogans and distributedhandouts to people in the park and other public places for awareness. Studentstook an oath “NOT TO USE LEATHER PRODUCTS”. A message board was put up in theschool where teachers and students posted their messages for their solidaritywith the movement.
