The narrative explores the different stages of personal growth and development from early childhood to young adulthood. In middle childhood, moving frequently facilitated making new friends but also introduced drama and family upheaval due to job changes.

Adolescence 11-18

friends: drama with cheer, high school drama
family: good and bad, withdrawn dad, sports parents
learning: cheer, still ahead of the curve til sophomore year
personal development: concrete things

Middle Childhood 8-11

Identity: Always causing drama
Friends/peers: always new friends from moving drama seeker
Family: mad about moving, lots of change, new jobs
Learning: ahead of the curve in AZ
Personal Development: moving a lot made new friends easy
