Why do I want to do this movement/project?
I feel like if I've been given a divine, consistent yet developing vision, and it's in my power to manifest it into reality, then I must pursue it. I have done protests, political art protests, and created two beautiful purposeful businesses. This movement isn't just about me, it's about empowering others and inspiring generations of people to create positive change. I'm doing this for the 7 generations ahead. I want to bring people together for good causes and accountability, rather than dividing them due to conflict or perceived differences. It's to make history all while pointing a bright light in the right direction for the future.
How does it feel for me to visualize this movement?
It feels creator-sent, I can visualize and feel thousands of ancestors around me in supportive spirit. It fills me with a purposeful passion, every person and resource that is sent my way to help with this ambitious, revolutionary project, is a sign/motivator for me to continue nurturing this project (movement). It makes me feel like I am on the right path.
LOOK LIKE?
It looks like smiling, nodding faces in a circle, followed by stoic, concerned, and focused gazes. It looks like people working together to create a legendary scene, confidence and excitement abound. It's cafes full of bright, willing individuals who are conversing for collective change, charity, and connection.
It's a convention centre full of vendors, non-profits, artists, people, and beautifully transformative art. It looks like astonished, inspired, and energized individuals who enter, embrace, and leave each part of this movement.
SOUND LIKE?
It is a room full of great minds, conversing in such a way that everyone in that room feels elated, like they are connected to a higher source and collective power. It is the exciting sound of "ahh" and "oh! and-" when ideas are shared. It sounds like the philosophical silence after consuming the 7TH GEN Art Exhibition. It's the murmur of talking, live music, and distant laughers of a connected community at The People's Market. It's the nods accompanied with respectful communication of vision, passion, education, opinions, and emotions between artists within the 7TH GEN Art Collective.
WHAT DOES THIS FEEL LIKE?
This feels powerful, revolutionary, soul-striking, and inspiring. The 7TH GEN Movement feels like a breath of fresh air after a toxic gaseous environment, it feels like peace and home. It feels like chills and adrenaline running through your body, the feeling of connectedness and power. It's the resolution of conflict, a good sigh of relief and the relaxing of your nervous system.

Requiring major participation of governments, international organizations, development agencies, environmentalists, labor organizations, peace and social justice groups
Denouncing and addressing short-term thinking and quick political wins, corporate interest intruding equitable decision-making
Addressing systemic issues at a trade, corporate management, national budgets and new institutions

What is the 7TH GEN Movement? - MISSION
Collective social action to ensure responsibility to the seventh generation
Requiring the linking of economy, environment, and the well-being of people within decision-making
The necessity of ensuring the survival of future generations to a wider society whose heavy discounting of the future has resulted in a massive degradation of the world

Maintain a reciprocal and equal working partnership where varied kinds of knowledge, different worlds views and sustainable development practices will enrich our understanding of what is necessary to create a sustainable future
The groups where action is most critical: traditional people, youth and women
We all need to take an active role in the healing process (For Indigenous people, all people, the Earth overall)
Existing barriers to exert healing have to be removed; changes in policies and laws regarding child welfare, justice and health, reflective of Indigenous teachings and knowledge
Access to land is central to Indigenous health and healing #LandBack the connection to land and the relationships and obligations that arise from that connection are the core of Indigenous identity.

- Non-Indigenous people benefit from this through the strengthening of the potential to save ourselves from global destruction
The original law intergenerationally taught of the sacred responsibility of Indigenous people to be the caretaker of all that is Mother Earth and therefore that each generation is responsible to ensure the survival for the seventh generation.
The principles of collective ownership and sharing, mutual respect and helping within the extended family system and community, the acceptance of diversity, and collective responsibility for the well-being of all members of society, of future generations and for the maintenance of all parts of Creation.
Extended family systems - Clan system, decision-making through consensus, division of labor respecting the respective roles of the clans and based upon need, survival and family structure all contribute to sharing, social cohesion and respect for life

Shifting the reality for Indigenous People (The Keyholders of the future survival of humanity)
- Must orient our attention to the needs of women and youth.
The suffering and pain from the cumulative effect of colonial policies, shortsighted development patterns and denial of Indigenous value and lifestyles
Rooted in a deep, long relationship with the Earth, with an intimate awareness of tire symbiotic relationship to the Earth
A particular mode of thought evolved over thousands of years
Indigenous knowledge is local knowledge, adapted to the culture and ecology of each population and matured over a long period of time, it is also in compliance with natural law and based on a holistic vision of life

MISSION
Breaking down the ethnocentric barriers to understanding differing perspectives so we can have social encounters with ease
Understanding the role of state policies modernizing Indigenous economy through treaties and creation of reservation, the modernization of traditional political institutions, and the modernization of social structure and Indigenous personality
How this factors sever Indigenous people from their sacred beliefs, resulting in a devaluation of their knowledge and practice through residential schools/missionaries, articial legal distinctions, and incentives to assimilate consumerist and individualist values
An understanding of the processes of impoverishment with respect to the disruption of traditional economies, integration into the global economy, modernization, environmental and social degradation due to disruptive development schemes, and marginalization of women and youth.
An ongoing application of inappropriate development strategies have eroded the strength of traditional societies and radically transformed the Indigenous way of life
The dispossession and marginalization of Indigenous people from their land base, a dependent relationship created over the period of fur trade and governmental policies, the use of alcohol, the introduction of credit and welfare economy creating a dependence on traders and outside interveners, resulting in a breakdown of family networks and shared responsibility for the community and the land.

Addressing contrasting perceptions of the sacred vs. secular nature of the relationship to the earth, the collective vs. individual responsibility
"New" perspective: considering life of the planet as a gift of the creator rather than resources to be used - the vision of our existence as it relates to sustainability - the reasons for utilizing the organic matter of the Earth viewed as a sacred circle of life rather than linear growth for human satisfaction
