This device currently benefits people that are paralyzed or deal with physical disabilities as it is only available to the that group of people. This device can help them function more psychically have larger roles in society.
This device can have a large impact on the world's lifestyle as it will make many technological aspects of life more convenient. However it can people more technology dependent. Also, if it provides users with a physical advantage, it may eliminate the effects of serious physical injuries ending in someone being paralyzed.
The device is currently very expensive for those able to buy it, and in the future once it is available to the public it will most likely be quite expensive. If the product is in high demand, stakeholders and the company its self will benefit
If many people are unable to afford it, it may give them a technological disadvantage if they become common in society. This could cause a economic and cultural divide in society of the wealthy have physical and mental advantages over the poor.
The device most likely be made by unsustainable materials
Production of this device could take place in factories that emit fossil fuels and lead to pollution
Or since Elon Musk is known for being an advocate for sustainable energy, the device may be produced using sustainable sources of energy to decrease any possible environmental impact
