Student has acclimated well to life in Ontario, having successfully compelted ESL 5 and having established a community of English-speaking and Mandarin-speaking friends at the school. She is an academically motivated student, but can get frustrated at times when class materials are presented bilingually (English and Spanish/French), without reference in Mandarin. Support is needed to ensure that she is able to obtain sufficient supports for her language learning in English to ensure that she is able to better engage in her learning in further languages.
