Camp Counselor

Near me. there are many community centers for my to work at for the day where I would play games with kids, crafts and many more.

For this job, I will work for the whole day for the two months that I am off to build a connection with both the kids and co-workers.

I would choose to do my shifts for the entire summer to maximize my pay to pay for university

I would do this job because I don't know what is better then getting payed to have fun.

Computer Store

There are not many computer store near me so I would only need to factor in commute time.

This job would require me to build computers, set up product, help customers and many more.

I would choose to do this job later in the night because when I get home from school I will need to finish my homework in the afternoon.

I would do this because I am being paid to spend time with people who have to same deep passion for computers as me.

Fast Food

The fast food industry in growing everyday which means there will be no shortage of jobs when it come to this industry. There are constantly McDonald or Tim Horton's opening near men.

This job would require me to take orders, make food, clean equipment and much more.

I would do this job 4 times a week because it is very close to my house and commute is at factor that does not need to be factored into the equation.

Swim Instructor

There are several Swim Instructor jobs available at the Cawthra Pool and many other pools in the area that I live in

This job would require me to teach swimming to the children and every class build off of the skills previously learned.

I would teach according to the given curriculum for that level. I would also choose to work twice a week during to school year to balance my job and school.

Volunteer

Assistant Camp Counselor

In the Peel region, there are several camps that I can volunteer at.

Some activities that you would do as part of this volunteer job would be organizing games or activities to do with the kids daily.

I would choose to do this camp, for two consecutive weeks during the summer. This will benefit both the camp and me because of the many experiences I will gain.

I would do this because I love to have fun and play sports with many people.

Helping elderly with computers

I help the elderly with there daily technological needs at the Mississauga Valley Community Center

Each person has a different need. Some are as simple as turning on an iPhone to as complex as coding in Python. I volunteer every Saturday from 10 am until 1 pm.

I chose to do computers because I like to help people and making them happy also makes happy. In this area especially I can excel in finding the solutions to peoples problems.

I would do this because once again, I love to teach and I have a deep passion for anything that has to do with computers.

Library Helper

I volunteer at the Port Credit Library as a Library Helper

During the school year, I would only volunteer for one hour a week. During this hour, I would help organize books and add to there constantly growing seed library.

I chose to do it only once a week because it was very far for me and I also had many other volunteer jobs happening at the same time.

I would do this because, I love to read and constantly being surrounded in by books in a very quiet environment is my definition of heaven

Junior Assistant Swimming Instructor

I help current Swimming Instructors teach kids from ages 2 -12 how to swim at Cawthra Swimming Pool

During the week, I volunteer two days a week from 4:30 to 7:00 PM throughout the school year. During the summer, I volunteer on Sunday's 5:00 - 7:00 PM.

I chose to schedule my entire summer around my summer school. For the entire month of July, I only am doing it on Sundays but at the start of August, I am going to do two weeks everyday.
