Huge inspiration for people who read the book and an inspiration for me specifically. Seeing how she pulled herself out of the whole and made something out of nothing blew me away.
But more importantly it strained the mind most. When your brain tells you too quit and you don't your training your brain your way.
Able to think clear, no anger issues, thought about her life, and how blessed she is
Doesn't want to go back how she was ever
Had 2 kids of her own
Wrote a book of the adventure
Both good and bad people (mostly good)
Got knowledge from different people who hiked before, so Cheryl took the time to listen and get better
Met lots of new people and got new skills as time went by
Met her husband the day it was over
Thought everything was crashing down on her
She didnt care anymore, and had intercourse with whoever she felt like
Didn't trust guys for the majority of the time because of her father walking out
Spent it all on drugs, fast food
Spent all money on it, let it rule her life
All hurt her mental state with other people and not trusting
