Homely distractions such as children or pets - leads to less productive and quality work produced.
Self-control needed to work productively - can be easily distracted and side tracked when at home.
No human contact to discuss work issues - so if issues arise, it is hard to do anything about it.
Feeling of isolation - being enclosed indoors for long periods of time.

Points

Hot desking is the practice in an office of allocating desks to workers when they are required or on a rota system, rather than giving each worker their own desk.
A big impact on society would be people do not need to travel to work in order to do their business therefore less traffic jams and car accidents. A result of this is the reduction in the size of offices that need to be built, reducing the carbon footprint even further and helping the environment
Someone who teleworking can work flexibly around their own family in an environment that is familiar; however, sometimes this flexibility can clash with family demands and as a result teleworking can be less efficient than normal working.
Working from home or teleworking is becoming more popular with the introduction of faster communication links and broadband. This allows an employee to remain in touch with the office whilst working from home.
